Capital NVC

Those who wish to really sink into making Nonviolent Communication a key part of their lives may want to participate in one of the extended training programs offered around the country. These programs run from six months to two years in duration. Some programs that we know about include:

• Many Capital NVC trainers have participated in the Bay NVC Leadership Program and have found it to be immensely rewarding.
• The Compassionate Leadership Program is another NVC leadership program, offered by Jim and Jori Manske and Roger Sorrow.
• The Bay NVC Peer Parent Leadership Program offers training in NVC parenting and sharing NVC with parents.
• The 3 month ZENVC Ango offered by Catherine Cadden and Jesse Wiens supports the development and deepening of a daily practice in both meditation and NVC.
• Brooklyn NVC's Facilitating Change program focuses on empowering social change.
• John Kinyon and Ike Lasater offer a 9-Month Mediation Program.
• The 7 Month Inner Empathy Multi-Modal Intensive offered by Jerry Donoghue teaches the use of NVC for deep inner work.
• The year-long New Depths program is offered by Susan Skye.
• The 2-year LIFE program and other programs by Robert Gonzales concerning the spiritual dimension of NVC are popular enough so as to be minimally advertised. A one-year "Deepening into Living Compassion" program is also offered.
• Speakers of French may be interested in one of the French-language NVC extended training programs offered in Quebec, where there is a vibrant French-speaking NVC community.
